Foreword
I'm a highly driven and motivated 22 year old who lives and loves art in all shapes and forms.
Art is undeniably the most focal driving force in my life. It's a way of being as well as perceiving, understanding, interpreting and ultimately amounting to the depth of overall consciousness. It allows me to embrace something that transcends the planes of rational, logic and thought.
I see myself as somewhat of an artistic chameleon as I am able to adapt my core creativity to a brand new field whilst carrying with me the same level of consciousness that I was able to initialize whilst working in a previous one.
I've never been someone who's “Followed the Rules” as it where, because I've felt that by doing so I’m not only limiting myself but also my own perception becomes subjugated to the same form of suppression enacted by the given structure or system. Art is something that should not be controlled, directed or restrained in any shape or form, simply because art is the context for self expression to pass through and expression is very wild, unpredictable and free in nature. Therefore the process in which it is developed and comes to life within should also be a true reflection of that consciousness.
The development is where everything happens, and therefore the real embodiment of conscious expression comes from the creative process. The end result is simply an equivalent incarnation forged from the initial inceptive level of consciousness. I live by a particular philosophy that can be ubiquitously applied to anything
(The Way of ….....without.......)
So for instance (The Way of Illustration without Illustration). All this means is that by approaching something from a perception and interpretation outside the range of the collective understanding which has been learnt from an un-evolved approach where no real change has been made in the way you see or think about something you naturally find a uniquely diverse understanding which is primarily your own. By doing so you free your spectrum of consciousness to a much wider and greater platform of creative expression.
I take this into every form of the artistic spectrum and try to cultivate a way of expression without expression. I've been able to use this produce a selection of creative reflections that embody the way I see myself as well as the world around me. They range from Model Making to Poetry. Illustration to Philosophy. They have all been brought together through this site and others for your viewing. I hope they interest, impress and most of all inspire you to discover your own unique qualities by embracing the (The Way of Art without Art).
